Account Executive (Remote Position)

With remote learning becoming a priority for nearly every organization and educational institution in the world, this account executive position is perfect for someone seeking a fun and challenging role in a rapidly expanding industry.

We are searching for a motivated team player to join us full-time. Our remote, close-knit team is collaborative across all departments, so we are looking for someone equally comfortable with completing sales activities as they are with sharing their top listens on Spotify and/or favorite cat memes. And while you may get asked for your go-to quick breakfast recipe, you’ll also need experience generating leads, qualifying new prospects, communicating with contacts, scheduling and delivering product demos, maintaining detailed records, and facilitating contract closure (if you can throw in professional learning/corporate training experience that’s a plus)! We won’t let you get bored here—this position has the potential to grow into sales management and team lead responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will brainstorm with the CEO and other stakeholders to conceptualize new ideas and strategies to generate revenue.
  • You will meet and exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets.
  • You will own the full sales cycle from inbound lead to close. 
  • You will manage key accounts. 
  • You will mentor other sales team members, review data and analytics, and be an important leader within the sales and marketing team.
  • You will provide product recommendations based on client and prospect needs and usage. 
  • You will educate clients and prospects on new product features and releases.

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have 5+ years of relevant sales work experience.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas quarterly and yearly.
  • You are confident in lead generation and prospecting. 
  • You are a strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical peers.
  • You have proven experience selling and demonstrating Web-based software/Saas solutions (corporate/professional learning experience desired).
